DreamHack Atlanta viewer's guide

With DreamHack Atlanta set to start in a few hours, we have prepared a comprehensive viewer's guide, where you will be able to find all the information about the event.

The community's attention is right now centered on the PGL Major Krakow playoffs, but, across the globe, another high-profile tournament is about to start as eight top teams will compete at DreamHack Open Atlanta, taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center.

HellRaisers will open up the tournament against Binary Dragons

With $100,000 up for grabs, the competition will start with a double-elimination group stage, featuring best-of-three elimination and decider matches. The top two teams from each group will then secure spots in the single-elimination, best-of-three playoffs.

Below you can find the group draw in full:

Group A Group B
Europe HellRaisers France Envy
Australia Renegades Denmark Heroic
United States Misfits Sweden GODSENT
Serbia Binary Dragons United States NRG

The opening and winners' fixtures will all be played on Friday, with the elimination and the decider matches scheduled for Saturday. Sunday will be all about the playoffs, which will come to a close with the grand final at 22:00.

Lul how do you know it'll be a close game if you don't even know who binary dragons are
2017-07-21 15:56
Because, HR had bad games on a major. And, I did a quick review for myself about BD, so, I would say, they have a potential.
2017-07-21 15:57
At least Renegades have a tournament they can win.
