compLexity add yay

Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker has joined compLexity ahead of Fragadelphia 11.

The move comes almost two weeks after the organization parted ways with Kia "Surreal" Man who had been with the team for more than a year after he moved to the US from the UK.

The organization explained that the decision was based on performance and was made by the players, coaching staff, and management.

yay will be in action at Fragadelphia 11

Complexity have now found their fifth player in Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker who has competed with various ESEA Main and Premier teams since 2015. The player will step up to the primary AWPer role in Complexity.

"When we began looking at new players for the AWP role, yay was not at the top of the list. It took just one practice session to change that opinion." said Kyle Bautista, General Manager of compLexity.

"Though Jaccob does not have the experience that some other player options possessed, he has demonstrated skills that are rarely found at even the highest levels of play."

"His youth may be just what is needed to rejuvenate the squad and kickstart our results in the upcoming season. We're excited to be taking a chance on a young gun, and we hope it pays off!"

Complexity's new roster will make their debut in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where Fragadelphia 11 will take place from July 28-30. You can visit our event page to find out more information about the tournament.

Agreed, for his age he's an up and comer for sure right now. Excited to see how he does at Fragadelphia since I wanted to go.
2017-07-27 15:40
i like yay but always preferred dazzle personally
2017-07-29 10:50
I haven't seen dazzle play but I've heard he's picking up a lot of attention as of the late. I'll have to watch him sometime when I get the chance.

2017-07-27 18:09
just because they are in rank S doesnt mean they're bad lol, doesnt make any sense
2017-07-27 16:49
im sayin this kid is just some pugger. and not even a pug star, he is quite shit.
2017-07-27 17:38
Stew was a pugger at one point...look at him now.
2017-07-27 17:42
yah so was ropz. difference is: those two were pug stars when they got picked up, not just puggers.
2017-07-27 17:55
True true, still you never know... someone's gotta be the next Olofmeister.
2017-07-27 17:56
yeah and if yay was that, he woulda made some noise in the past months and years playing in rank S. but all thats happened is he eventually became slightly better than the regular moveups while still causing headaches for the actual pros.
2017-07-27 17:57
True again
2017-07-27 17:58
you're acting like he's joining Cloud9. He's joining coL, he'll probably be the best player on the team.
2017-07-27 23:56
that doesnt change the argument at all whatsoever.
2017-07-27 23:59
your argument is that this is a bad pick-up for coL, no? Who do you suggest as a better pick-up? yay is the best possible pickup that this team could've gotten. He's incredibly talented and is dedicated. He's going to be the best player on this team. How is this bad for coL?
2017-07-28 13:15
the problem is with the "incredibly talented and dedicated" part, as well as the "hes gonna be the best player on the team" part.

2017-07-27 13:56
I've always thought that complexity could make some noise in the na scene with the lineups they've had lately but they always proof me wrong, there's some potential I see in them which I never get to see
2017-07-27 13:57
they proof you wrong
2017-07-27 14:13
where do u see any potential dude lol UK CS + failure in desi + nonamers + prbably the most useless coach in thhe history of coaching lol
2017-07-27 17:56
Yay is actually pretty good, too bad his potential is going to waste away on coL.

Forgive me for I am not familiar with ODEAG. Who is he? Although I can agree with the fact that Complexity is not going anywhere fast. It's nice to see them adding fresh NA blood to the team but the team is stale as they alluded to in the quote.
2017-07-27 17:18
You must be trolling. ODEAG=Ocean, you know, the guy who led Stewie, elige, nahTe to the top?

Well, they almost beat Astralis. And dazed said he would play with nahte, so he must be pretty decent.
2017-07-28 00:01
complexity is a joke for long time now, jason lake needs to rebuild from nothing when contract of these players run out
2017-07-27 14:06
i feel bad for Warden cuz he really wants to put together a good team but i think they should rebuild the entire team,or at least change more than 1 player
2017-07-27 16:47
warden is just riding paychecks
2017-07-27 16:50
i dont share the same opinion with u about that ,he`s with coL for a long long time, and with Jason also, and i think it`s more about paychecks for him
2017-07-27 17:06
did you mistype? i feel like you're saying the same thing I said...
2017-07-27 17:07
Nope no mistype,he is not there for the money ,that.s what i meant :),he.s there cuz he wants to create a good team at coL :)

2017-07-27 16:50

2017-07-27 16:56
10x better is still p bad tho tbf
2017-07-27 17:07
Not only that, he spent multiple seasons in prem just roster hopping and getting kicked because (according to some previous teammates) he had an incredibly shit attitude. Still kinda hoped he'd finish out this season of prem, hopefully make the MDL LAN, to at least gain experience in that aspect. He's certainly skilled enough.
2017-07-27 18:30
He even said he changed his attitude based on previous team experience's. He is a good pickup for complexity.
2017-07-27 18:32
Agreed. I almost think coL would be better off if they had yay hybrid and somebody else AWP, but they'll eventually figure out whats best in time.
2017-07-27 18:36
Enough of this 'yay' spam. Thank you in advance.
2017-07-27 14:25

2017-07-27 14:25
I dont normally right this....but WHO ?
2017-07-27 14:33
If you followed the na semi pro scene, you'd know he is probably the 2nd best pickup for pro teams at this moment - at least regarding players who haven't played pro before.
2017-07-27 14:54
Who is 1st then?
2017-07-27 15:12
i'd argue its either dapr or moose.
2017-07-27 15:22
Dapr. There's a guy named Zellsis who is probably third - he's basically s1mple - toxic but very skilled.
