ESG Tour Mykonos 2017 with ~$240,000 in September
CS:GO tournament platform PvPRO have announced an eight-team tournament with €200,000 (~$240,000) on offer, taking place on the island of Mykonos in Greece, from September 7-10.
The Greek tournament will be the first stop of a series of tournaments called Electronic Sports Global Tour (ESG Tour), with top three teams from the €200,000 event receiving direct invites to the next stop.
ESG Tour Mykonos will begin with a GSL group stage on the first two days, featuring best-of-one matches on the upper side and best-of-three's in elimination and decider matches, followed by single elimination, best-of-three semi-finals, and a best-of-five grand final.
The organizers have invited seven teams directly, with the last coming from an invite-only closed qualifier featuring four European teams, set to take place on August 17-18.
Among the invited teams are recent Major winners Gambit, as well as current number one team according to our ranking, SK, as you can see from the team list for the tournament running from September 7-10:

The Destiny Villa, which overlooks the Aegean Sea, will not only serve as the event's venue but will also accommodate all eight teams, with the organizers planning to have the location "fuel a plethora of happenings besides competing, guaranteed to thrill both the players and the community watching from home."
