International e-Sports Federation has announced the official titles for its ninth Esports World Championship, which will run from November 9-12 in Busan, South Korea.
For the second year in a row, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been selected as one of the official games in the Esports World Championship. Besides CS:GO, League of Legends and Tekken 7 are the other two titles that will be played at the event.
This will be the ninth edition of the tournament organised by IeSF, which consists of different nations battling it out in different games. Despite ENCE winning last year's CS:GO competition while representing Finland, for example, South Korea came out victorious in the World Championship after placing first in League of Legends, third in Counter-Strike and fourth in Hearthstone.
According to the official announcement, the second Entry Registration will be running until September 18 with national qualifiers across the world, but there are already over 400 participants registered in all three games.
After securing the host city bidding for the 2017 edition, Busan will be hosting the ninth Esports World Championship at the International Passenger Terminal Convention Center.
