Following the reveal of the four invited teams, the qualifiers for the €10,000 (~$11,800) Vip Adria League are set to start.
Vip Adria League is a competition for teams from the Adriatic region, which includes Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Macedonia, Montenegro, and Albania. The league will have €10,000 up for grabs, a prize pool significantly larger than those of Adria leagues up to this date.
The competition that will consist of open qualifiers, an online league, and a LAN final is backed by Vipnet, a regional telecom, and run by ESL.
Four teams that will play in the league are already known, as invites have gone out to Binary Dragons, who recently competed at DreamHack Open Atlanta, ESEA S25 competitors KlikTech, Nemanja "k1Ng0r" Bošković's RESISTANCE and Squared—that are currently in the semi-final of the ESL Major League.
The team list will be finalized through four open qualifiers, with the winner of each one earning a place in the eight-team online league. This is how the team list currently looks:
|Qualifier #1||Qualifier #2|
|Qualifier #3|| Qualifier #4
The qualifiers will be played on four consecutive Saturdays, starting on the 19th of August. You can find the qualifier schedule and sign up links below:
When all the teams are found, a BO3 round-robin online group stage will kick-off. The two best teams from the group stage will earn a LAN spot directly, while the remaining two LAN spots will be decided through online playoffs in which teams ranked 3-6th will participate.
The four-team LAN final will be held in Zagreb, Croatia, at the Reboot Infogamer gaming expo at the end of November, with the prize pool being distributed as follows:
1. €5,000 (~$5,900)
2. €3,000 (~$3,500)
3. €1,500 (~$1,800)
4. €500 (~$600)
