MVP PK undergo changes

MVP PK has revealed changes to their roster with Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim replacing Seon-Ho "termi" Pyeon in the active lineup, with the latter taking over Ronald "Rambo" Kim's coach position, who will be assisted by Soon-Woo "Argency" Kwon.

The news comes after MVP Project disbanded at the end of July, which saw ex-3D member Ronald "Rambo" Kim transition to the former WeMade FOX squad as the coach for a brief period.

He was replaced by Seon-Ho "termi" Pyeon following a decision made by the team and management shortly after. MVP PK brought in two ex-MVP Project players, with Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim fulfilling the void, and Soon-Woo "Argency" Kwon joining as assistant coach and analyst.

Former Team 3D's Rambo will no longer be coaching the veteran squad

MVP PK's most notable achievement was finishing runners-up at the ZEN League Season 1 Finals in June. Ever since the recent change, HSK and co. successfully qualified for the ROG MASTERS 2017 APAC Main Qualifier last week via the Korean Qualifier

"After MVP Project disbanded, we had several internal discussions amongst the management and all the players about our goals and future," said in a statement by Hyunsuk Im (MVP's General Manager).

"In the end, our unanimous decision was to transition termi into the coach role, Argency as assistant coach and analyst, and HSK replacing termi in the starting lineup as the main AWPer. It has been almost a month with our new system and we are excited with where we are headed. As for Rambo, he is now focusing full-time on marketing and partnerships."

MVP PK now have the following roster:

Korea Keun-Chul "solo" Kang
Korea Min-Soo "glow" Kim
Korea Bum-Ki "peri" Jung
Korea Min-Seok "zeff" Park
Korea Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim

Korea Seon-Ho "termi" Pyeon (coach)
Korea Soon-Woo "Argency" Kwon (assistant coach & analyst)

Besides ROG MASTERS, MVP PK is set to compete in ZEN League Season 2, which will commence next week on September 12.

project_kr was never relevant to cs scene, since this team appeared with zeff when cs 1.6 was declining to its end.
2017-09-06 16:21
They were in the earlier days, not with zeff though

I think Solo deserves the spot as he's the IGL in 1.6. That's how an esport player evolves. Player > IGL > Coach. Kim went through all the stages which makes him be able to communicate well for marketing purposes as of now. :)
