FaZe beat Na`Vi; on to ELEAGUE playoffs
FaZe defeated Natus Vincere 16-6 on Inferno, securing the first spot in group A and a place in the ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier 2017 playoffs.
A promising start to the pistol round from Natus Vincere was spoiled by Håvard "rain" Nygaard, who got kill after kill on the encroaching Terrorists before clutching the 1v1 to start off the match with an ace. After cleaning up the second and third rounds, FaZe extended their lead by shutting down a late-round A execute by killing the planter, making the score 4-0.
FaZe had a 3v3 retake on B going their way to make the score 7-0 before the Ukrainian side finally got on the board with pick-off round that finished on A. The economy of FaZe was fragile after that, with back-and-forth rounds leading to ecos from the European mixture and Natus Vincere catching up, making it 8-6. The last buy round went the way of FaZe, as Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team pulled off another 3v3 retake on B to finish the half 9-6.
Natus Vincere had an even better situation going for them in the second half pistol round, but Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács turned a 2v5 situation on its head, getting four kills and punishing the defensive side's over aggression. Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's team decided to go for an early buy, trying to surprise their opponents, but it backfired, allowing FaZe to go up 13-6 without being contested with a full buy.
An A site execute worked out perfectly for FaZe, as rain picked up two entries to extend their the lead. With limited economy and entries not going their way, Natus Vincere were unable to fight back, eventually losing the game 16-6.
