Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen, one of the players known for raising talent through the ranks in Denmark, will be moving on from undefined.
The Dane received an offer, which has not yet been revealed, before playing Cross Border Esport with his now ex-team undefined. There, Nicolai "HUNDEN" Petersen and his teammates got an underwhelming 9-16 place, losing to ARES in the first round of playoffs.
The team that got a 5-6 place at DreamHack Tours and a semifinal run at Copenhagen Games left the Tricked organization after an agreement could not be reached in negotiations following the end of the players' contracts. The team then lost Patrick "es3tag" Hansen to Heroic and Asger "AcilioN" Larsen moved on to become an IGL in his own right, blows that undefined never really bounced back from.
HUNDEN has released a statement about the move:
"Few days before CBE I got an offer from something I really wanted to try. But I had to finish my duties here in Undefined before leaving for my new stuff!"
"Undefined has been a weird project from the beginning - we started early this summer testing out players for the lineup. We never really got to the level we had at Copenhagen Games and Dreamhack Tours. We really tried to create something new, but the talents in Denmark don't have place for 6 top teams.
"So we were the unlucky ones without any kind of support from sponsors, but we really tried to fix everything!
"I would like to thank all the players here in Undefined - b0RUP, AcilioN, smF, cadiaN, Andkilde, Bubski, fr0slev. All the players who tried to work this out! It was funny :)"
