SK have advanced to the playoffs at ESL One New York 2017 after beating Cloud9 16-5 on Train.

SK and Cloud9 met on Train in Group A winners' match to determine which team would advance to the playoffs. SK started the game on the CT-side and won the pistol round with Fernando "fer" Alvarenga's double kill.

The Brazilians won the following round with fer's double opening kills to lead 2-0. Cloud9 bought weapons in the third round but fer stopped them in their tracks. Marcelo "coldzera" David's 1vs2 clutch made it 4-0 and SK won five more rounds (9-0).

SK crushed Cloud9

Timothy "autimatic" Ta and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham's double kills gave Cloud9 their first round but it didn't change anything as SK continued their crushing performance and led 13-2 at halftime.

SK planted the bomb on the A-site in the second half pistol round, extending their lead to 14-2. SK won a 3vs5 in the following round and later closed out the game 16-5, advancing to the playoffs in ESL One New York.

2017-09-15 21:20
I'm by no means a fan of NA CS, but I always wondered why is there so many BR fans insulting their opponents in case BR wins and completely shutting up otherwise That disgusting behavior is so common that all of the trolls mimic Brazilians explicitly What are the grounds for this?
2017-09-15 20:39
hm its a cs forum, people talk about cs, people cheer for teams etc this is how people act in those cases =T I guess you can find same shit on faze, fnatic, etc and making fun of NA being trash is common since the beggining go back to your minecraft forum if this is too "annoying" to your amazing mind :>

2017-09-15 20:28
I remember when I was proved wrong so I had to change my argument. The "count machine" was your brain (no real stats used), and apparently you can't count past 4.
2017-09-15 20:36
now without joking I remember c9 in BR, liquid last tournment, and c9 against immortals in a random qualifier, refresh my memory pls
2017-09-15 20:36
SK has lost 6 maps on LAN to NA teams this year. Immortals has lost 7 maps on LAN to NA teams this year.
2017-09-15 20:51
ok now how many lans NA won, and how many lans br's won this year? :> come on... dont talk nonsense... only give me the numbers
2017-09-15 20:52
You keep changing your argument. I've proved you wrong twice now, good day!
2017-09-15 20:54
lmao I dont even know how many times br won against na this year but liquid was only one that was a REAL one =p outside of that is the usual: br stomping na and NA crying xd #thecryisfree
2017-09-15 20:55
Yeah, they play so many times that if NA doesn't win at least once a year would too much even for them.

you should agree that you only have 3 tier 1 teams in this event, so of course one would be in one group and the other two in the other.

So SK x Astralis on semis, since Astralis will destroy either Liquid or VP. Astralis wins another one against SK. SK had a very easy road so far on this tournament. On the first match against a weak nV they showed some flaws that against a stronger team would have cost them the match. Them they played Cloud9 with a new lineup; again, an easy match. Astralis 2 - 0 SK
