North top ELEAGUE Group B over Immortals

North have secured a spot in the ELEAGUE Premier playoffs after defeating Immortals in overtime on Cobblestone.

Starting out on the Counter-Terrorist side, North won the pistol round and the subsequent anti-ecos to take a quick 3-0 lead. The Danes came close to winning the first gun round as well after finding two frags, but things quickly turned sour for them, and Ricardo "boltz" Prass ended up clutching a 1v2 situation.

Immortals went on to win the next two rounds, bringing the scoreline to 3-3. North then finally won a gun round, but they would soon be reset thanks to an ace from Lucas "steel" Lopes that included a 1v3 clutch. The Brazilian team remained in the driving seat for a while and enlarged their lead to 8-5 before North tightened up their defense to bring the deficit to a minimum before the break.

North march on to the ELEAGUE Premier playoffs

boltz came up huge in the pistol round as CT with three quick kills, but then Immortals were caught off-guard by North's force buy. That was the start of a great run from the Danish team, who would hit 14 rounds on the board before the Brazilians could take their first gun round of the half, courtesy of a triple kill from Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles.

Another triple kill from LUCAS1 and one from Raphael "cogu" Camargo then followed, putting North's economy in a dire situation. At 14-14, North went for the win and bought all they could - a decision that paid off as they took the round with a fast B execute. Still, they would not be able to deal the finishing blow as Immortals won the final round to take the match to overtime.

The first overtime could not determine a winner as both teams won two rounds on the CT side. In the second overtime, Immortals took a 2-1 lead after a massive blunder from North saw them waste a 5v2 situation, but then the Brazilians were outplayed in the second half, losing three rounds in a row.

SK had 1 extremely bad BO3 (vs Liquid - ESG Mykonos) and they suddenly became bad lel The BO3 vs G2 was well played by SK. Yea they lost, but they could've closed the map 2-0 and that due to a mistake doesn't take it away that they were superior to G2 in the first two maps, and went naturally overwhelmed for the third. So basically SK only underperformed in 1 BO3. How are they done? I'm saying this as a SK supporter yet I'm unbiased when analysing so yeah don't come up with fan of this fan of that blablabla

They have done absolutely nothing since cologne, lost to Astralis in the PGL Major without even putting up a fight, and then they lost all the important BO3s' throughout the tournaments vs Liquid, G2 and North, they dont deserve to be even top3 ATM. Yes they were the best team not long ago, but not anymore.

they would have won with kng god lucky for north that he is having visa issues. everyone hating on immortals because they are a scary team now and because kng is so good, who cares about some pointless tweets besides losers, the real reason for the hate is that they dont like how kng and immortals have risen (and na obviously hates immortals because IMT shits on na everytime). obv bias from loser haters

Cry is free, North have beaten Immortals in a bo3 fair with all their players, granted the last two times they were handicapped, but its not like Immortals had the advantage anyway.

Damn that clutch from cogu! Immortals lost this game for not being able to hold the B executions from North. That CT side must be improved a bit more. Maybe with kNg they didn't lost.
