Reason acquire Danish roster

Reason Gaming have announced that they have signed a new CS:GO roster, which will represent the organisation in the Gfinity Elite Series Season 2.

After its British team placed last in the previous edition of Gfinity Elite Series, Reason have revealed that they have signed an all-Danish squad featuring 1.6 veteran Oliver "minet" Minet

Thomas "haste" Dyrensborg and Kevin "KS" Svenningsen, two players who represented Reason Gaming in the past, join the former mTw player in his adventure, with young duo Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard and René "TeSeS" Madsen rounding out the roster.

After his brief period with TANTRUM, minet will now be playing for Reason

In the official statement, minet spoke of his trust in the organisation and his new teammates, and highlighted his desire "to compete at the highest level":

"I am personally thrilled to be back at a somewhat competitive level, the vast majority of people on the Danish scene had little to no faith in a 1.6’er that showed up way too late to the party," he said.

"The fact that haste and I could build this team together is invigorating beyond belief! Other than that, I just can't wait to show that I do want to compete at that highest of levels."

Here is how Reason's new Danish roster looks:

Denmark Thomas "haste" Dyrensborg
Denmark Oliver "minet" Minet
Denmark Sebastian "Basso" Aagaard
Denmark Kevin "KS" Svenningsen
Denmark René "TeSeS" Madsen

Denmark Christian "rezex" Bjerregaard (substitute)

Denmark Jacob "thamlike" Holm (draft)
United Kingdom Nick "zeo" Jugjeewon (draft)

Minet was good but not that great in 1.6 , he was a good support player, the main reason mTw was so damn good in 1.6 was mainly trace, zonic and ave.

Hmm, you are quite wrong. Yes, mTw was occasionally great after they acquired trace and minet, which happend in close proximity if not at the same time. But their main succes was way before their time, when they played under NoA. Their original roster was zonic, ave, sunde, hpx and MJE. Then, when they changed to mTw and changed hpx for whimp was when they really did shine. And while I do agree that ave and zonic was their core, trace's time in mTw was too short to include him.

Obviously he is only talking about the mTw that had minet in, not all their past rosters, in which case he is quite right.
