Dynasty to WESG EU & CIS Female Finals

The Swedish core of Dynasty—Zainab "zAAz" Turkie and Julia "juliano" Kiran—combined with three of their countrywomen and won the Sweden & Denmark qualifier for WESG, earning a spot at the regional LAN finals in Barcelona.

Considering Dynasty fe features players from three different countries, the team's roster for this event had to be completed with three Swedish players: Nicoline "Nicci" Svensson, Lizette "L.K.S" Scheich and Therese "lillsan" Petersson.

The qualifier, that featured only six teams, was won by Julia "juliano" Kiran's team without too much trouble. The Swedes took down Proud Hippo 2-0 before moving on the grand final, where they 2-0'd FLÆK featuring the likes of Michaela "mimi" Lintrup and Julie "Juliebabz" Kokholm.

zAAz and co. will be traveling to Spain in November

The WESG 2017 EU & CIS Regional Finals Female LAN will feature eight teams in total, with only Dynasty and Turkey fe known at the moment. The tournament will be played in Barcelona, Spain, and will give out a $16,000 in prizes, as well as three tickets for the $170,000 main event.

The team list for the event looks like this:

Europe Dynasty fe Turkey Turkey fe
Europe France, Monaco, UK & Iceland Europe Germany & Benelux
Europe Iberia Russia Russia
Europe Scandinavia & CE Europe Ukraine & Poland

Take it easy. Thank you. The user is, to some extend, correct as principally Portugal and Spain come to one's mind when referring to the Iberian Peninsula. As for Gibraltar, it is a British colony thus the user actually just forgot about Andorra.

No worries dude, i don't take offended and he might be right, probably other countries have better education :D. However, in Serbia we call it "Pirinejsko poluostrvo", so i was kinda confused when i saw that on english its called "Iberian Peninsula" because Serbian language is like "what you type, thats what you read", we don't say "sch" like germans we simply say "Š" f.e so with our language logic it should be "Iberijsko poluostrvo" in this case, gonna research this more tho :D

Iberian comes from the name of a river in Spain, Pyrenean comes from the name of the mountain range that separates the peninsula from the rest of Europe.

I had that in mind but google translated "Pirinejsko poluostrvo" as Iberian Peninsula", weird... atleast i can blame google instead of my geographical knowledge :D

Yeah it's weird, it was confusing for me as well when I learned it in school, never heard of the term "Iberian" until then.

If you refer to her team, Dynasty.fe, it has to use a a full Swedish line-up thus Petra will not be able to play for them.

Teams change lineups in tourneys all the time, it's not at all unthinkable in the land of CS that they qualify with some people and play with a slightly different lineup in the main tournament.

ITS LITERALLY THE FIRST SENTENCE IN THE ARTICLE DUDE "Considering Dynasty fe features players from three different countries, the team's roster for this event had to be completed with three Swedish players: Nicoline "Nicci" Svensson, Lizette "L.K.S" Scheich and Therese "lillsan" Petersson."

Right, and "for this event" can't be interpreted as the qualifier the article is speaking about? Actually, if you read that part again, that's exactly what it refers to, since it says "had to be completed" - i.e. it is already over.

I can agree with you on one thing. If one doesnt know before that WESG qualifiers only allow people from one country to compete, then it doesnt make as much sense.
