Heroic with a resounding win over SK on Train

Heroic shocked SK in their first match at ELEAGUE CS:GO Premier, defeating the Brazilian side 16-5 on Train.

A three-piece from Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen secured Heroic the CT pistol on Train, with Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's hat-trick in the following round setting up the underdogs for a great start to the match. Coming into the first gun round, João "felps" Vasconcellos was able to add four kills to his name, but Heroic's in-game leader replied once again, securing two crucial frags that, combined with the round timer, got his team 4-0 up.

After ecoing out, SK decided to go for a full-on execute on A in round seven, but niko secured two kills from the Z connector that allowed Heroic to retake the site and keep their clean sheet. SK finally got on board when Epitacio "TACO" de Melo burst out on B, but no momentum could be built as Jakob "JUGi" Hansen's AWP did work, getting key kills to make the score 9-1.

SK didn't have a solution for niko in their ELEAGUE opener

Another round win from SK was again quickly interrupted by Heroic as niko pulled out an unlikely round on B, picking up four kills in a 2v4 B site retake. The Brazilian side finished the first half with a total of four rounds, and, with the second pistol round going the way of the Danes as well, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's side was in a tight position starting their defensive side.

B site aggression was a perfect counter to what Heroic were trying to do in the first buy round, getting FalleN's side their fifth, but Patrick "es3tag" Hansen and co. were quick to bounce back and shut out the game 16-5.

You are an idiot. "numero uno" is a relatively common phrase used by people who speak English, due to the prevalence of Spanish (Mexican Spanish, that is, whatever the difference in dialect is) in southern parts of the United States of America, you...belligerent god damn monkey. It has nothing to do with SK's nationality.

Nah, just the classic argument when your prediction were horribly wrong. Yes, SK was favorites to this game, and under normal circumstances they will win a B01 4/5 times (9/10 if SK are on top form), but both ELEAGUE and SK disrespected Heroic massively. Heroic is not just some random team. If players like JuGi and NiKo have a good day, even the best of the best team in the World have to put up their absolute A-game, else Heroic will beat you.
2017-09-30 02:43

oh please don't even start it with the "no good teams" excuse. Ask any proffesional player or analyst and they will say that NiP had an era
2017-09-30 02:58
NiP fans say an era existed. 87-0 when there were no tournaments and half the current players were playing 1.6 and css... Nt.

 |
Sweden disismadnez
87-0 no tournaments? U funny? thats Lan stats only
2017-09-30 03:00
NiP dominated the game after pretty much everyone switched over. The primary reason being they adopted the game a bit earlier, but the truth was they were simply a level above everyone else for over a year. To say it wasn't their era is ridiculous, since no one was playing 1.6/CSS anymore when they were demolishing the scene.

That is not the fucking reason that they switched over few months before. They were just fuckining better aimwise...
2017-09-30 08:16
It wasn't just aim though. You could watch the difference in team play resoundingly come through in the matches. They understood the maps and how to play them better than everyone else for at least the first 6 months.

2017-09-30 09:39
NiP 100%, definitely, without a doubt as to reality, HAD an era, and anyone would be absolutely retarded to deny that. Absolutely just...completely braindead. However, NiP's era wasn't really particularly impressive in the end because of the shit competition they had. It was an era, but it was a shit era, and only people with huge rose-tinted nostalgia glasses can argue that they had a good era, if you compare it to - for example - the fnatic era, which was much more impressive in its own right.

2017-09-30 02:42
With the individuel skill level of SK, they should be able to outaim Heroic as well. They made some mistakes in some important round. Heroic was broke for almost all of the CT site, but lucky things made the game shift their way. Unlucky things happen. Being unprepared wasn't one of them :)
2017-09-30 02:44
"Heroic was broke for almost all of the CT site" They started CT side 9-1 and ended up winning 16-5. In what delusional universe were they "broke" for "all of the CT site"?
2017-09-30 12:13
They were forced to do a half buy when they lost that one round, simply because of things like round 4, where they lost all other than 1 player, but SK didnt plant.
