Astralis overrun Heroic; to ELEAGUE Premier playoffs

Astralis are the first team to progress to the ELEAGUE Premier playoffs from Group D following a comprehensive 16-2 victory over Heroic on Train.

A strong start from Astralis on the CT side saw them take the first five rounds of the game as Heroic struggled to break through their compatriots' defensive setup. A 1v2 clutch from Jakob "JUGi" Hansen in the outer site then earned Heroic their first round, but Astralis hit back immediately, resetting the Terrorists.

Heroic's offense simply could not generate anything, and, to make matters worse, they were losing all the aim duels. Until the end of the half, Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer's men would not be able to steal any more rounds away from Astralis, who would take a commanding 14-1 lead.

Astralis march on to the playoffs

More misery was to come for Heroic, who would lose the second half's pistol round following a fast B execute from Astralis. Heroic still managed to get a round on the board on a force-buy, but they could not catch a break as a quad-kill from Lukas "gla1ve" Rossander in the next round brought the match to a close.

2017-09-30 15:45
only NiP and fnatic had an era in this game /closed
2017-09-30 18:48
They never were a force who were winning everything so much for a longer period of time NiP and fnatic were that, sadly they're far from that now :/

I actually think they are getting back at it, at least NiP is. Forest is nuts lately
2017-09-30 21:30
How NiP are looking atm. I don't think they will become a tier one team, however I see them able to become a top 6-8 team so far atleast. Never know though how things go in the future.

Because train its cancer map just like old nuke was. Everybody can beat everybody if they start ct and get things rolling. But valve bans dust2 wich was the most balanced and unpredictable map in the game. As usual valve doing everything to ruin this game and then wonder why is it dying

Look at how SK is playing maybe? TACO basically is a BOT atm, Felps is making mistakes left and right, Fer can't carry the game every game, FalleN doesn't hit shots atm and Coldzera is inconsistent, which is unlike him. They will probably pick it up soon anyway, Cold kinda swore that yesterday. Heroic isn't better than they were before, and I'm pretty sure Astralis managed to show that to the public with the 16-2.

I hope so, gla1ve being such a beast in this match gives me faith. Astralis was so dominant because EACH player could turn up at any time and carry the match, they've been lacking that power recently, I hope this is the start of a long comeback to the top of the world

Maybe Heroic threw this one, because RFRSH wanted them to do so. I don't like clashes of two teams owned by the same company.

MAJORITY shareholder, so basically they do own both. If you owned both, which one would you rather see in the playoffs?
