Hellcase Cup 6 prize pool bumped to $62,000; invites revealed

Starladder has announced that the prize pool for HellCase Cup 6 has been bumped to $62,000 thanks to community contributions, with four new teams entering the fray.

According to the tournament's organisers, contributions from the community through sales of a special skin case have added over $50,000 to the prize pool, which originally amounted to just $10,000.

Ninjas in Pyjamas, MOUZ, BIG and HellRaisers have all accepted invites to compete in the quarter-finals of the tournament, joining the winners of the second round of the playoffs.

Featuring a single-elimination format, the playoffs will begin on Monday, October 9, culminating with the grand final, three days later.

Note: An earlier version of the article mentioned that the prize purse had been bumped to $72,000. Starladder has since corrected this information, saying that the new prize pool amounts to $62,000.
