s1 to join Tempo Storm - Report

Merciless' Ricardo "s1" Shinji is on the brink of completing a move to Tempo Storm, ESPN Esports Brasil reports.

The Brazilian player will replace Lucas "DeStiNy" Bullo, who is set to join Immortals on a permanent basis after impressing for the PGL Major Krakow runners-up on trial.

Ricardo "s1" Shinji will join up with the rest of the team before the end of the day and will not play for Merciless in the WCA South America Finals playoffs.

s1 will sign for Tempo Storm

According to ESPN Esports Brasil, Felipe "delboNi" Delboni, who also plies his trade for Merciless, was Tempo Storm's first option, but a move failed to come to fruition as the 19-year-old's visa application was rejected.

This will be s1's third stint abroad after playing for AlienTech in Portugal and for paiN in the United States, both in 2016.

With these changes, Tempo Storm will have:

Brazil Denis "dzt" Fischer
Brazil Bruno "shz" Martinelli
Brazil Alef "tatazin" Pereira
Brazil Paulo "land1n" Felipe
Brazil Ricardo "s1" Shinji

One of those Japanese Brazilians it seems by name?
2017-10-07 20:05
Yes. Bruno 'Bit1' FUKUDA from TeamOne/VillaMix GG Renato 'Nak' NAKANO from Sharks Bruno 'S1' SHINJI from Tempo Storm Guilherme 'gui' NISHIKATA from Black Dragons Lucas 'YJ' YUJI from BootKamp Gaming FNX always played with some of those guys since MIBR but he's chinese. It's like the BR CS asian coonspiracy. ROFL. But as u can see they are from the 3rd generation of Brazilian japaneses they all have brazilian first name. Their grandfathers and grandmothers are 100% japaneses who started moving to Brazil in 1908 until 1970s..

Thanks for the information - very interesting. I read about the Japanese Brazilian community a while ago. Particularly big in Rio if I recall correctly? The women must be phenomenal!
2017-10-07 21:24
No. Actually Rio have low quantity of japaneses.. It's bigger in the states of Sao Paulo and Paraná.

Sao Paulo has a district where the majority of people are japanese/chinese descendants, and they have their own asian culture there, just like some cities in the south have german/ukranian/italian culture.
