fox assembles team for WESG Iberia

Ricardo "fox" Pacheco headlines OFFSET.Portugal, a team put together for the Iberian WESG qualifiers.

The Dignitas member reunites with Joao "⁠KILLDREAM⁠" Ferreira, who is currently plying his trade for Spanish side Heretics, after the duo played together on k1ck between 2013 and 2015.

Former AlienTech member Luis "⁠zpr⁠" Marques and k1ck duo Pedro "⁠million⁠" Teixeira and Rui "⁠vts⁠" Soares round out the starting roster, which will don the colours of Portuguese organisation OFFSET.

Christopher "⁠MUTiRiS⁠" Fernandes and Ricardo "⁠roman⁠" Oliveira have also been included in the squad but only as substitutes as they are unable to compete in the online qualifiers due to Giants attending the ESL Clash of Nations during those days (October 27-29). The experienced duo are expected to be moved to the starting roster, should the team progress to the offline portion of the qualifier, which will be held in Álava in November.

fox at last year's WESG EU & CIS Regional Finals

Last year, Portugal was represented by k1ck oldschool, the winner of the Iberian qualifier, at the EU & CIS Regional Finals, which took place in Kiev. The team, featuring the likes of Ricardo "⁠fox⁠" Pacheco, roman and MUTiRiS, finished fourth of their group, which also included dignitas, iGame.com, Epsilon and EYESports.

OFFSET.Portugal have signed up for WESG Iberia with the following roster:
