Quantum Bellator Fire through to CIS Minor playoffs

After defeating Tengri in the Group B elimination match, Quantum Bellator Fire beat forZe 2-0 to secure their place in the CIS Minor playoffs.

The Russian clash kicked off on Inferno, with Quantum Bellator Fire opening up the game with a successful Terrorist pistol. Despite forZe winning an eco, they could not string any rounds together or build up an economy.

It was only in the 13th round that Emil "kUcheR" Akhundov's men managed to string some rounds together, reducing the deficit to 6-9 by half-time. Still, Quantum Bellator Fire put in a strong CT display in the second half, losing just two rounds before locking down the map.

jmqa's Quantum Bellator Fire will take on pro100 in the playoffs

A quad-kill from Dmitriy "facecrack" Alekseyev put forZe in the lead on Train, with his team following that up with three more rounds. Quantum Bellator Fire then tightened up their defence, winning eight rounds in a row, with the Terrorists still managing to get two more rounds on the board before half-time.

forZe came out of the break with renewed impetus, winning seven rounds in a row as Quantum Bellator Fire simply could not find a way past the CT's defense. It looked like the series would go to a third map, but then Quantum Bellator Fire's offence finally clicked, with Savelii "jmqa" Bragin's team equalising the score in the 30th round before closing out the map in overtime.
