OpTic to Europe Minor playoffs over Space Soldiers

The second day of the Europe Minor saw Space Soldiers beat eXtatus while OpTic easily passed through PRIDE to secure their place in the Group B winners' match.

Starting out as Terrorists on Train, OpTic quickly grabbed a 3-0 score, but their fast-paced style wasn't fruitful in the first gun round. Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli stopped a swift B execution with a triple-kill with the AWP, and, from that point, Space Soldiers went on to secure a 4-3 lead.

Although Adam "⁠friberg⁠" Friberg's men then equalized the score, Space Soldiers instantly reset OpTic's economy. From there on out, the Turkish side kept increasing their lead, not losing a single round until half-time to secure a dominant 11-4 lead.

Magisk was one of the key players for OpTic

OpTic did not want to back down and began the second half with a successful retake. Despite Space Soldiers buying up in the third round, Emil "⁠Magisk⁠" Reif clutched a much-needed 1v2, paving a way for his team to eventually reduce the deficit to 9-11.

It was only then that Space Soldiers managed to bag their first round as Terrorists, but there was little they could do as their opponents did not let them string any rounds together. OpTic continued to rack up rounds, losing only one more before completing the comeback, 16-13.
