Splyce complete ROG Masters list

Splyce have booked the final spot at ROG Masters 2017 after topping the Americas finals with a 3-2 victory over Ghost Gaming in the final.

Held at the Esports Arena, in Santa Ana, the ROG Masters Americas Finals featured four teams - three invited and one qualified -, who competed in a single-elimination bracket for the chance to represent the region at the $250,000 event, in Malaysia.

In the semi-finals, Splyce breezed past subtLe, while Ghost, who have brought coach Phong "bee" Nguyen back to the starting roster, replacing Dallas "Dallas" Micks, edged out Rogue on three maps.

SEMPHIS' Splyce will attend ROG Masters 2017

The grand final was a keenly-contested affair from the start. Ghost twice had in the lead in the series, after winning Cobblestone and Train, but they could not put the match to bed as David "DAVEY" Stafford racked up 32 kills on Nuke to inspire Splyce to tie up the series at 2-2 before they won the final map, Mirage, with a great all-round performance.
