daps returns to NRG starting roster

Damian "daps" Steele has been moved back to NRG's active line-up, Allan "AnJ" Jensen has revealed.

In a TwitLonger post, the Danish player admitted to being frustrated with his supporting role and expressed hope that, with Damian "daps" Steele' return, he will "get more room to slowly improve" and to get his confidence back.

The former OpTic member had been moved to a coaching role only last month, with Dylan "RIKO" Sabin-Arnce, formerly of Denial, joining the team on trial.

daps is playing for NRG once again

But NRG's results with the 21-year-old were far from impressive as the team went out in the groups at both DreamHack Denver and at the Americas Minor, winning just one out of five matches.

That has forced NRG to revert back to their old line-up, with daps, who already faced Misfits in the ESL Pro League on Tuesday night, believed to have taken over from Jacob "FugLy" Medina as ingame leader.

The North American team will be in attendance at iBUYPOWER Masters, this weekend, where eight sides will square off for $100,000 in prize money.

NRG now have the following roster:

United States Jacob "FugLy" Medina
United States Vincent "Brehze" Cayonte
Denmark Allan "AnJ" Jensen
Bulgaria Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov
Canada Damian "daps" Steele

I thought he replaced AnJ for a split second lul
2017-11-08 19:20
Daps is literally just killing some of the most talented up and comers in CS Disband this shitty team and let Cerq and AnJ return to their old teams where they can thrive again, plus Brehze can make it onto a bigger NA team like CLG or Misfits.
2017-11-08 19:27
NRG isn't making a major soon -daps +steel

why such a hard on for steel? he has been out of the game for so long, not up-to-date on current metas etc. i doubt he would have the authority to lead these players. at least in EU hes a complete joke and has never accomplished anything in csgo really.

WHY NOT - daps + steel (BR) ????? Steel with IMT´s disband probably would accept this challenge. Steel is more skilled than daps and could IGLing for them. Suck org, deserve the worst by their choices.
