Tainted Minds to replace 5POWER at ZEN League S2 Finals

5POWER had qualified for the event after finishing in second place in the Asia round-robin stage, but visa issues will force the Chinese team to miss the competition.

Tainted Minds, who recently added former Renegades member Yaman "⁠yam⁠" Ergenekon to their squad, placed third in the ESL ANZ Championship following a three-way tiebreaker with Grayhound and Athletico.

The Fergus "⁠ferg⁠" Stephenson-coached team will be looking to build on their recent success at the AOC CyberGamer Spring Finals, which they won after beating Grayhound 3-0 in the final.

The ZEN League Season 2 Finals will take place from November 17-18 at the ESL Studios, in Sydney, with 30,000 AUD (~$23,000) on offer. The event was originally scheduled to take place last month in Melbourne, but a schedule conflict with the Asia Minor forced ESL to change the dates of the tournament, which will feature a double-elimination bracket.
