100 Thieves sign ex-Immortals lineup
The Brazilian quintet, including the ex-Immortals trio that made it to the PGL Major Krakow final earlier this year, will be playing under the 100 Thieves banner.
The Major runners-up, Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles, Henrique "HEN1" Teles, and Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe will be joined by Lincoln "fnx" Lau as well as by mibr, FireGamers, and compLexity veteran Bruno "bit" Lima, who confirmed this lineup in October.
A report came out in November in which the Immortals organization was valuing its contracted trio of HEN1, LUCAS1, and fnx at up to $1 million, although no official amount for the transfer has been released. Meanwhile, bit was bought out of TeamOne and kNgV- was a free agent after having been let go from Immortals.
The Brazilian quintet, having the 100 Thieves core of HEN1, LUCAS1, and kNgV-, will thus keep their spot at the next Major as all three hold "Legends" status for their playoff run in Krakow.
HEN1 & co. will play under the 100 Thieves banner, a new organization founded by former Call of Duty player and YouTuber Matthew "Nadeshot" Haag and backed by the Cleveland Cavaliers NBA franchise.
The full roster of 100Thieves will be:
Henrique "HEN1" Teles
Lucas "LUCAS1" Teles
Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe
Lincoln "fnx" Lau
Bruno "bit" Lima
We're proud to announce that 100 Thieves is officially entering into Counter-Strike: Global Offensive! Please join us in welcoming kNg, LUCAS1, HEN1, FNX, and Bit to the team.
