Due to health issues, Nicolai "device" Reedtz, was not able to leave for IEM Oakland in time, so Astralis will be using their coach Danny "zonic" Sørensen in their game against NiP.
Earlier today, the Danish organization informed their fans via Twitter that the team's main AWP and star player Nicolai "device" Reedtz wasn't able to depart for the upcoming North American event at the same time as his teammates, due to sickness. His delay means that he will not be able to make it in time for Astralis' first match, that is also the opening match of the tournament.
This will not be the first time we see zonic getting back in the player's spot for Astralis at a big LAN event. The 31-year-old previosly stepped in for his team in the first season of ELEAGUE and the ESL One Cologne 2016 Major, with both outings being fairly successful for the Danes.
