All eight participating teams for the ECS Season 4 Finals have been determined following the end of the online stage in Europe and North America.
The European division came to a close with a two-way tie between Astralis and NiP for fourth place, with the Danish giants coming out on top based on round difference, joining fnatic, FaZe and mousesports at the offline finals.
Meanwhile, SK fans found themselves rooting for Renegades as the Australians stood in the way of Luminosity, who could climb above their compatriots in case of a single win in the double header against the Asia Minor champions.
With Samuel "SileNt" Portillo acting as a stand-in, Renegades picked up a win on Train, but Luminosity fought back on Cache, securing a close 16-14 win to leapfrog SK into fourth spot by a mere four rounds, denying Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's men the chance to defend their Season 3 title.
The ECS Season 4 offline finals will take place at the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun, Mexico, from December 15-17, where $750,000 will be on offer.
