boltz to play for SK at ESL Pro League S6 Finals

SK Gaming will be allowed to field Immortals loanee Ricardo "boltz" Prass at the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals, according to a report from Dust2.us.

The 20-year-old is already part of SK's roster in the ESL competition, which suggests that his transfer from Immortals happened somewhere between his last match for his former team in the league, on October 20, and the November 9 trade deadline.

This explains why SK are able to field their newest member while Liquid cannot attend the event with Lucas "steel" Lopes, who was not registered by the North American team before the transfer deadline, forcing them to field team coach Wilton "zews" Prado

boltz will be SK's fifth player in Odense

Ricardo "boltz" Prass joined SK on October 20 on loan from Immortals. Since then, the Brazilian giants have won two events, EPICENTER and BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, and placed third-fourth at IEM Oakland.

SK have been drawn in "Group Red" for the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals, alongside OpTic, North, NiP, Misfits and NRG. The event will take place from December 5-10 at the Sparekassen Fyn Arena, in Odense, Denmark, where 12 teams will square off for their share of a $750,000 prize pool.

Rigged? No. For the first time in CSGO history SK actually respected rules and deadlines. Astralis and Liquid didn't. What is actually bullshit was disco-doplan being allowed to dodge rules for a Major but Boltz wasn't. THE SAME RULE.
2017-11-27 22:51
Astralis hasnt done any transfers sir... device is unable to play due to his health issues thats y they want dennis as a stand in...transfers and health issues are 2 different things...but we will see what will happen tbh i would love to see dennis playin again cuz he was really good at the last tournament

Actually they do allow emergency transfers after the deadline (in case a player goes sick or some other unfortunate event) Teams can request it and ESL can decide whether or not to grant it. Steel has no change to play for liquid, however. This is for EPL tho, not the majors.
2017-11-28 09:11
If rules don't mention a particular case (health issues in this instance), they are NOT clear as sky. Quite the contrary.

They do need to change the rules and allow at least one roster spot change. Like a stand in or a trade but I understand the deadline. Just like in sports

I agree 100%. It is silly that boltz can play and dennis and steel can't, BUT they can't just change rules whenever they want. the NFL reviews dumb rules/changes AFTER the season maybe CS should do the same but they can't make an exception now. But like I said, I agree with some types of exception rule like you suggested especially if there is a limit of 1 per team or something

NP. Which new player are you most excited about? For me it is steel, but boltz is also close as he could really help SK return to form (he already has helped) because he fits their system better. Dennis did great, but we all know he is not better than device. steel however is the 1 CLEAR upgrade and Liquid is good but could never win, so I wonder if steel could help them get over the hump. So IMO boltz could be huge in getting SK back to #1 for all of 2018 just dominating everyone, but SK already did that 3/4ths the year without him. But steel has a chance to take an "almost wins big lans" team and make them a winner so that is exciting to me

I was actually replying to #165 but yeah agree with you as well For me both transfers are great for the respective teams and players, however steel's arrival to Liquid's house is more valuable for the scene in general. nitr0 isn't going to keep calling obv(IMO he never was a solo IGL, constantly getting help from stan) With steel taking reigns in Liquid we got a solid chance to see a piece of a crazy-ass Brazilian CS presented by a well-organized and disciplined players. That could be deadly, and steel can prove himself as a T1 IGL I am calling it rn, Liquid will win at least one major/premier title next year

Read the article again. It says that boltz was transferred to SK before the deadline
2017-11-27 18:04
It says they suggest he was transferred, theres no evidence here. Just that Boltz joined as a loan on november 20.
2017-11-27 18:24
BOltz joined as a loan on OCTOBER 20. And as the article suggests, he was transferred to SK before November 9. Probably WESA have the contract to allow Boltz playing. It's not kinda that they have to make his contract public(as an evidence) so all HLTV lawyers and experts may not bullshit anymore.

Even tho I agree with steel and dennis playing with their teams, boltz did not played the whole season. He did not played the last two matches. I know, sounds dumb as fuck, but ESL rules say that you cannot trade your team once you played the whole season. But this rule sucks, steel is even kind of comprehensible, but dennis is going as a stand-in for a sick device, man, wtf. Aren't they humans?
2017-11-27 19:37
It's completely different. Steel and dennis were both on their teams when the deadline ended and boltz was not.
2017-11-27 18:26
Yeah but the thing is Astralis did absolutely nothing wrong they are just unlucky so they should get the standin they want and if everyone gets his Steel should play as well simple as that
2017-11-27 18:29
What? Why should they get any standin they want when it's breaking the fucking rules? Liquid already flew to Denmark to play with their coach because of the very same rule. Can't just bend the rules in favour of one team when the rules clearly state that they can play with x player if they've been part of another team after the deadline.
2017-11-27 18:31
Yeah but fuck the rules seriously. 80% of the crowd are cheering for astralis and thats absolutely amazing as we saw this week. Its all about entertainment and you wont get it by pointing out every Single rule. Further, i really cant imagine any team will cry if Astralis play with Dennis and Liquid plays with Steel. Just let the Guys play as they want and let them have Fun and entertaining the vieles ffs
2017-11-27 18:35
Some would argue that rules are rules. They are not meant to be broken or bent when we see fit. Should the rules change? Sure. Doesn't change the fact that it is what it is. Liquid can't use steel, Astralis can't use dennis. Either settle with zonic or get Pimp, pretty sure he is not bound to Heroic, AND they're gonna use him at ECS anyways.
2017-11-27 18:39

THE CHANCE OF THE MOTHAFUCKAS GET A PLAYER THAT ALREADY WAS PLAYING IN THE SAME LEAGUE OR QUALIFIER OR WHATEVER DA FUCK IS 200000% just let everyone play with their roster ffs -.- this time SK got boltz, why da fuck steel cant play for liquid etc so much bullshit lol they need to make this work better.

The 20-year-old is already part of SK's roster in the ESL competition, which suggests that his transfer from Immortals happened somewhere between his last match for his former team in the league, on October 20, and the November 9 trade deadline. Once again for ppl WHO DONT KNOW HOW TO READ.

Nah, if it was for this reason then they should let astralis field in Dennis since astralis brings the fans to Odense.

2017-11-27 19:09
The Brazilian giants exerted great banana control for the rest of the half and utilized a variety of different paces to keep the Astralis defense in check, with the only two rounds that the Danes won coming off of individual plays from Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye and Dennis "dennis" Edman.
2017-11-27 19:13
LET THEM ALL PLAY FFS

Astralis and Liquid should just drop the finals. What‘s the probleme? Rules are rules. Everyone have known them before. They all should make their decisions beforehand and should register a stand-in in advance.

Device is sick, it's not a matter of "Decision beforehand".

2017-11-28 00:08
fair and square.. they changed boltz before the transfer deadline so its cool with me too bad steel and dennis wont be able to play but hey sk already walked throught that path

>CS >Consistent rules Pick one. This kind of rules are useless as they don't prevent anything and they end up lowering the overall quality of teams in this situations. Liquid should be able to use steel, astralis should be able to get a standin (even more as they are down 1 player due to circumstances impossible to predict).
2017-11-27 20:43
NICE !
2017-11-27 20:45
Pants on head retarded rule. "boltz joined before a certain artbitrary date, therefore he gets to play" SK didn't play a single EPL match with him on the roster. Astralis and TL got fucked over hard.
