Gambit to attend WESG qualifiers with neaLaN
Gambit will attend the WESG 2017 APAC qualifiers with Sanzhar "neaLaN" Ishkakov who will fill in for Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov.
The 17-year-old Kazakhistani Sanzhar "neaLaN" Iskhakov will be playing with Gambit as the tournament rules allow only one nationality per team, meaning that Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov was unable to participate in WESG qualifiers with Gambit. Dosia has already qualified for the WESG 2017 World Finals with Russia who placed 9-12th in the Europe & CIS Regional Finals.
Gambit will take part in the eight-team Central Asia qualifier which will kick off on December 4. Gambit will need to win that qualifier for a spot at the WESG APAC Regional Finals taking place at the start of 2018.
The APAC Regional Finals will hand out $92,500 in cash prizes and six spots at the WESG World Finals. Gambit will take part in WESG qualifiers with the following lineup:
