Kinguin came from behind to beat VenatoreS 2-1 and win the second edition of the Polish Esport League.
The top four teams of the online portion of the league gathered at the Warsaw Gasworks Museum, where they squared off for the chance to win the grand prize of over $13,000.
The semi-final stage featured a surprising result as AGO, who attended the most recent Europe Minor and are currently ranked 20th in the world, were stunned by VenatoreS.The other semi-final match was a one-way street as Kinguin moved past PRIDE on two maps, with Karol "rallen" Rodowicz averaging a 1.76 Rating.
VenatoreS carried their momentum into the final and took the lead in the series with a convincing win on Cache, where Patryk "Patitek" Fabrowski picked up a 1.82 Rating. rallen came up huge on Cobblestone, racking up 30 kills to help Kinguin equalise the series, which then went to Inferno. The decider map was the most lopsided of the three as Kinguin dropped just two rounds total before completing the reverse sweet, with Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski earning a 2.1 Rating.
