FaZe kicked off the second day at the ESL Pro League Season 6 Finals with a victory over Astralis while fnatic beat Liquid in overtime.

FaZe and Astralis came into their Group A match-up on Mirage with four points each. FaZe started on the T-side and won the pistol round with a 2vs5 clutch thanks to Håvard "rain" Nygaard's quad kill.

FaZe dominated the first weapon round and started a streak that would not end until the tenth round. Astralis won a round for the first time in the game in the tenth round as they trailed 9-1. The Danes salvaged what they could at the end of the half, trailing 10-5.

FaZe didn't struggle against Astralis

The second half was a blowout as FaZe won the pistol and first weapon rounds. They finished it off with a 16-5 final scoreline to earn three more points.

The game between fnatic and Liquid was also on Mirage. After splitting three rounds to kick off the game, the T-sided fnatic went on a five round streak to lead 8-3 and the Swedes were ahead at halftime.

Liquid had a buzzing start to the second half and won the first seven rounds, leading 13-9. The North Americans got through fnatic's defense with ease and managed to earn four match points. However, they couldn't close out the game and the teams went to overtime. fnatic won the match 22-18 after two overtimes.

Why is Liquid playing with 'zews'? They removed stanislaw if I remember correctly and didn't get a replacement?
2017-12-06 13:49
steel is stanislaw's replacement but he can't play because he played for Immortals during the season
