Kings, B.O.O.T-d[S], Recca and more confirmed at WESG APAC Finals

The past week saw eight more teams confirmed at the WESG 2017 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals in Jiaozhou, China.

In the South Asia & South East-Asia qualifier, the Vietnamese duo GameTV and UTM clutched the two spots for their overseas trip, with Cong "crazyguy" Anh Ngo's new roster defeating his former UTM crew in the grand final.

Next up was the New Zealand & Pacific Islands qualifier, that saw a mixed squad consisting of Tainted MindsChris "ofnu" Hanley and Ryan "zewsy" Palmer, SYF members Razmik "RaZ" Bastadjan and Egor "LONSDALE" Baranov, and current Kings AWPer Simon "Sico" Williams win the event under the Parallax banner.

Meanwhile, Kings and pork (now known as Control) grabbed the two international spots on offer in the Australian qualifier. BOOT-d[S] won the Singapore qualifier as expected, including a walkover in the grand final as their opposition was forced to forfeit due to an event clash.

Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand's former teammates in Recca won the Indonesian qualifier with ease, alongside Mineski who dominated the Philippines qualifier in convincing fashion.

Here are the current participants for the WESG 2017 Asia-Pacific Regional Finals on January 11-14, with six more spots left to be completed:

China Flash China New4
Malaysia Fire Dragoon Japan SCARZ Absolute
Jordan Chosen5 Kazakhstan Gambit
