Space Soldiers eliminate Chiefs; advance to semi-final

The group A decider took place on Cobblestone, where Space Soldiers seized the early lead, starting by claiming a chaotic pistol round on the A site. Playing from the T side, the Turks went on to win the two first buy rounds as well, with the first one being a 2v1 and the second one being a 1v1.

Despite the buy rounds being close and Chiefs being able to do decent damage on their ecos, Space Soldiers were able to build a significant bank as they went 7-0 up. Alistair "⁠aliStair⁠" Johnston picked up a double on B long with the AWP and a total of four in the eight round to get his side on the board, only for the Australians to be reset in the next one.

Engin "⁠MAJ3R⁠" Küpeli's team was already 9-1 up when Chiefs earned their next round as Space Soldiers' B play was read and flanked. That allowed the Australian side to finish the half with a total of four rounds (4-11).

Tyler "⁠tucks⁠" Reilly entry on A in the pistol round caused Space Soldiers to overrotate to the site and allowed Chiefs easy entry into B, but Ismailcan "⁠XANTARES⁠" Dörtkardeş's double as he was rotating into the bombsite got the round back in control of the Turkish side, who clutched the 2v2 to secure their second pistol.

The Australians weren't able to win a force buy, going down 13-3 before they started chaining rounds together on the Terrorist side. A fast A long push overwhelmed the defensive side and yielded Chiefs another round win (8-13).

After reaching nine rounds, with five won in a row, Chiefs' comeback attempt was stopped. The Turkish side secured comfortable round wins back-to-back to stop the Australians' momentum and closed out the game 16-9.
