Spirit added Viktor "somedieyoung" Orudjev to the team, completing their roster following the departure of Vladyslav "arch" Svistov.

The CIS squad added Vladyslav "⁠arch⁠" Svistov at the end of last year before they attended two important LANs, the CIS Minor and the StarLadder Shanghai Invitational. After both events finished disappointingly for Spirit, the team decided to part ways with their newest addition.

Coming in his place is the 20-year-old Viktor "⁠sdy⁠" Orudzhev, who played in teams such as eL'quvet and spray'n'pray in the past, but made his breakthrough by winning a season of FPL in November, which was the first season he played. The Ukranian got an offer to step in for Spirit in December, when they parted ways with arch, and has now been added to the team officially.

Spirit's team manager Ruslan Bugrin stated that sdy is "developing quickly and is working on his game a lot" and that he "was the player that the team needed."
