QB.Fire win the CIS match-up; qualify for the Major

Quantum Bellator Fire defeated AVANGAR 16-6 on Train to earn a 3-2 record at the ELEAGUE Major 2018 Main Qualifier and advance to the next stage.

The matchup between two teams from the CIS Minor took place on Train, with Quantum Bellator Fire starting on the CT side. The defenders secured the pistol with Kirill "Boombl4" Mikhailov starting it off with two USP-S headshots, taking the early 3-0. Timur "buster" Tulepov and Alexey "qikert" Golubev combined to start a series of round wins for AVANGAR, which would be stopped by a mixed-buy from their opponents.

AVANGAR stole way a round with just Deagles to make their deficit just one round (5-6), but Aurimas "Kvik" Kvakšys and Nikita "waterfaLLZ" Matveyev secured three fast kills with AWP to break the bank for the Kazakhstani side and run away with the half, ending it 9-6.

boombl4 had his best game of the tournament against AVANGAR

Quantum Bellator Fire started off the pistol round slowly, but after the bomb was planted on B, the Russian side went offensive and took down all five defenders, putting themselves in a great position to close out the game.

AVANGAR afforded their first buy as the score was 12-6 in the opponents favor. The team from Kazakhstan got into a favorable 3v1 situation, but overeagerness from Aidyn "KrizzeN" Turlybekov allowed Boombl4 to clutch it out and set his side up for victory.

If course it's easy to crash Tier1 for unknown players and orgs. While they can prepare very good on their enemies, Tier1 Teams are like "Who the Fuck are they?" They play shitty in Onlineleagues, bad Online Quailifiers and there is almost nothing to prepare with. QB Fire, Vega and also Space Soldiers are not ment to be a part of a Major. I was excited for another ELEAGUE Major but this is Shit. Not worthy of a Major. Even Dreamhack Masters is more worthy of Major-Level-gaming than this crap.

teams that are in the major earned it
2018-01-16 03:19
So a team got smashed by Na'Vi and FaZe, barley won against Flash Gaming and just won against Envy because they needed to play with an emergency stand-in deserved to play at a Major? That's not earn it, that's lucky af and pulls down the quality of the major.

you can say the same about navi... they got smashed by faze and mouz and beat qbf, sprout and a liquid with zews to move on
