TyLoo beat MVP PK to qualify for IEM Katowice

TyLoo have booked their spot at IEM Katowice 2018 after defeating MVP PK 3-0 in the Asia closed qualifier.

The six-team closed qualifier saw TYLOO take on MVP PK for a place at the next Intel Extreme Masters event. Hansel "BnTeT" Ferdinand and his teammates came from the upper bracket, meaning that they would only need to win two maps to qualify for Katowice.

The grand final, a rematch of the Upper Bracket semi-finals, which TYLOO won 2-1, began on Cobblestone, which proved to be a one-sided affair as the Koreans found themselves trailing their opponents 12-3 at the end of the first half and only managed to pick up one round after switching to the CT side.

BnTeT led the way for TyLoo

Inferno, on the other hand, was much more keenly-contested, with the first half ending with a close 8-7 advantage for MVP PK. TYLOO came from the break with all guns blazing, winning eight rounds in a row without response to hit match point. The Koreans still tried to get back into the game, but the deficit was too big to come back from, with the Chinese side eventually locking down the map, 16-11, to book their place at IEM Katowice.

2018-01-22 16:59
It is so easy forasian teams to qualify that it really bothers me. Tylul over here has to beat tier 99 mvp pk meanwhile space soldiers aren't even invited to the europe closed qualifier. Pathetic!

accept the fact that any Tier2 eu team is 10x better than tyloo, asia will never achieve anything in csgo unless the koreans get better
2018-01-22 20:03
if the same rules applied to anybody, then we will never seen QBF at major because we are assuming that they're never belong to that level. but look, qbf just got a "legend" title

tier2 eu will always be better because they get to play tier1 teams meanwhile tyloo is stuck in asia beating useless teams Didnt tyloo bootcamp in poland and played oakland qualifier and they lost to a bunch of total nonamers? if tyloo want to be serious about doing in something csgo they need to move to eu or na like renegades

they will learn nothing and achieve nothing when they continue to win all these asian qualifier to tier1 international tournaments and do nothing against tier1 teams and then go back to asia 5-6 months then play another asian qualifier. the cycle never ends.
2018-01-22 20:13
"if tyloo want to be serious about doing in something csgo they need to move to eu or na like renegades" lol where is renegades right now ? not even make a group stage. the qualifier isn't only about competitive, there's bussines behind it and asia is a huge market to target.

where is renegades right now? right now they are better than tyloo hltv.org/matches/2316505/renegades-vs-ty.. You should ask yourself where is sk now? why do u think they moved to na ? Imagine if tyloo moved to na and pracced everyday against sk/cloud9/liquid
2018-01-22 20:37
hltv.org/matches/2311880/tyloo-vs-renega.. yeaa u right, move to na/eu and the problem solved. LOL

why is that old result + bo1 relevant? are u stupid? might as well post tyloo vs luminosity 2-1 in 2015. i promise u tyloo will win nothing if they ever get to tier1 lans nor will they ever become legends in the major :) Also u suppose staying in asia and beating tier99999999 teams will solve their current problem? no wonder asia players suck cl_brain 0
2018-01-22 20:50
yup, u rite, just like renegades, moving to na, and here they are, beating tier 1 ass and get the legend stat.... oh wait, they didnt
2018-01-22 21:04
there is no way tyloo is at the same level as better eu teams. I agree with the other guy. If they want to improve, they should move to europe or na. Theoughout the history, there were very few asian teams to be able to compete. Wemadefox, wNv and lunatic-hai.. Other than that, they are winning pretty much every event in asia = ez money.
