EPG part ways with spaze
Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan is no longer a part of EPG, the organization has announced today.
EPG, the Russian team led by Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov, is currently in the 77th place of our world ranking, with their regional standing not looking too hot either, sitting in the 12th spot on our CIS list. In an attempt to turn things around, EPG have decided for a roster change.
Leaving the active lineup is Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan, who was a part of Gambit in 2016 alongside his EPG teammate hooch. The Russian player is most likely removed due to his in-game performances—with a 0.97 rating over the last three months, during which EPG mostly played lower tier opposition, spaze is one of the worst rated players on the team.
A full-time replacement for spaze hasn't been announced yet. However, starting with EPG's match against Spirit in the QIWI TEAM PLAY WINTER 2018 and continuing in their game against Heroic in the IEM Katowice 2018 Qualifier, the team will play with Kristaps "krii" Bricis, formerly of Preparation and NokSuKao.
EPG are now:
Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov
Aleksey "NickelBack" Trofimov
Aleksey "El1an" Gusev
Mareks "YEKINDAR" Gaļinskis
Kristaps "krii" Bricis (standin)
