ex-dignitas trio reunite on NOREG
Former dignitas trio Morten "zEVES" Vollan, Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen and Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad have decided to reunite on a new team called NOREG.
Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad became a free agent in November, when he was released by dignitas, while Morten "zEVES" Vollan, who started out as coach but eventually found his way into the team, and Jorgen "cromen" Robertsen were freed from their contracts only last week.
The trio are joined by Ole "Marcelious" Kristian Langan, who played for the NOREG squad that attended the WESG EU & CIS Regional Finals, in Barcelona, and by Even "nafu" Leirvik, who has raised eyebrows in the ninth season of King of Nordic, averaging a 1.28 rating.
Despite dignitas' Norwegian project having failed to live up to expectations, zEVES believes that his new lineup will be the one to finally "put the country back on the map" and that attending a Major is a possibility down the road.
"I tried different lineups in the past without international success, I tried coaching for almost a year, but my true passion was always to play and sharing my knowledge with my players," he told HLTV.org.
"We have a good mixture of experience and talent, and everyone in this lineup is ready to give everything and start from scratch to develop our playing style and philosophy.
"Our long-term goal is to be to become a top tier team with the ambition to play at Majors.
