Ozstrik3r joins LDLC as coach
French veteran Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni has been installed as LDLC's new coach, the organisation has announced.
The 39-year-old will step into the shoes of Julien "Krav" Hernandez, who, according to LDLC, will "concentrate on his speciality, analysis", after coaching the team for the last nine months.
Steeve "Ozstrik3r" Flavigni is one of the most popular figures in the French Counter-Strike scene. Between 2004 and 2012, he played at a top level, winning multiple EPS France titles and also a CPL World crown, in 2006.
After switching to CS:GO, he was part of the Imaginary Gaming squad that finished in second place in ESL Major Series Winter 2012 and that attended Esports Heaven Vienna, where he played alongside Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli and Richard "shox" Papillon.
"For me, this is an unexpected opportunity to join LDLC because it is the best in France today (Serious, quality of work with the equipment they put at our disposal and Gaming House)," Ozstrik3r said in a statement.
