The future of Misfits' Counter-Strike section has been the subject of speculation since the end of the ELEAGUE Major's New Challengers Stage, when it was revealed that Sean "seang@res" Gares, Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Hunter "SicK" Mims were free to explore their options.
While SicK has already joined the ranks of Rogue, seang@res and ShahZaM are keen to continue to play alongside the French duo David "devoduvek" Dobrosavljevic and François "AmaNEk" Delaunay, who remain contracted to Misfits, according to Dust2.us.
Even if Misfits land the former Gale Force team, it is unclear at this point whether they would be able to play in the ESL Pro League with the spot that the organisation holds.
According to the rules, there are no limits to the number of player changes that a team can undergo in the current transfer window. However, a transfer request can be rejected by the WESA Executive Board in case it deems that "the competitive balance of the League would be seriously disturbed."
