Hellcase Cup 7 announced
The seventh season of Hellcase Cup will have a crowdfunded prize pool—which last season added up to $62,000—on top of the $10,000 put down by the organizers.
The Hellcase Cup will take place online, its habitual medium, and will be running from February 5 to March 25. The first stage will have two groups of eight teams play in a best-of-one round-robin stage before twelve teams are seeded into the playoff brackets.
The playoffs will kick off on March 12, with two rounds of single-elimination play. The four surviving teams will then be joined by four invited teams in the quarter-finals, where the first eliminated teams will start to receive a share of the prize pool. The tournament will conclude with the grand final which is to be played on March 25.
The teams competing will be:
Group A | Group B |
