Viva Algeria finalize WESG World Finals team list

Viva Algeria have booked the final spot at the WESG 2017 World Finals after defeating Hyper4mance 3-1 in the grand final of the North African qualifier.

Hyper4mance secured their place in the best-of-five final after beating Moroccan side Atlas Lions 2-0 in the last-four stage, while Viva Algeria defeated their fellow countrymen Limitless, also by a 2-0 scoreline.

It all began on the Tunisian team's first map pick, Cobblestone, where they got off to a dream start after picking up 13 rounds on the Terrorist side. With Nabil "natsu" Badi leading the way for his team, but it was all for naught as Hyper4mance eventually closed out the map, 16-11.

The qualifying stage for WESG has finally come to an end

Next up was Inferno, which was the polar opposite of the first map as the Algerian side took a commanding 11-4 lead after another one-sided first half. And just like on Cobblestone, the team trailing still tried to get back in the game after the break, only to falter alfter hitting 11 rounds.

Viva Algeria carried their newly found momentum into the next two maps and easily closed out the serie after running out 16-5 and 16-4 victors on Cache and Train, respectively, to assure themselves of a spot at the WESG 2017 World Finals.

2018-02-12 14:45
Why?
2018-02-12 14:46
Because can't even qualify for a major
2018-02-12 14:48
But they did
2018-02-12 14:48
They didn't. They got to the main qualifier but that's it
2018-02-12 14:49
They passed the challenger stage and qualified for major. What you say is major playoffs. Even group stage was success for ss and they did it.
2018-02-12 14:50
Still it's depressing how long have they been togheter without achieving nothing while QBFire made it to the playoffs at their first try and AVANGAR showed potential
2018-02-12 14:53
Qbf one time wonder. Just like vega, after their game is analyzed, they are fucked. SS have more stable future.
2018-02-12 14:54
SS losing consistently while QBFire able to innovate in order to get better. Nt

QBF is basically BIG but without the bug.
2018-02-12 20:54
How is it possible that they went to playoffs then? Big without bug is nothing compared to QBF

Nonono you misunderstood what I meant ( tho I’ll admit I worded it badly) What I was trying to say is that QBF will achieve as much as BIG did with the bug; that is, they’ll get to playoffs here then lose in groups next major. That’s what I meant: QBF achieved as much as BIG, but they did it without using a bug.
2018-02-12 21:00
