StarSeries i-League S4 first round schedule released *

Starladder have released the schedule for StarSeries i-League Season 4's first round of the best-of-three Swiss stage.

* Update: The rest of the schedule has been added.

The group stage of the fourth season of StarSeries i-League will have two matches running at the same time, as Starladder have introduced best-of-three series into the Swiss format for the first time, streamed on two separate channels.

The first round, featuring a few interesting matchups such as fnatic versus Gambit and Astralis up against Liquid, will take place on February 17, with four more rounds set to be played on the following four days.

I always hated that. If they had time I wouldn't mind semis and the final same day but if they have a 3rd place decider that kinda makes up for it

Questionable roster move ? Lololololololol
2018-02-14 19:29
We don't know how well Michu will blend with the roster. It could be better or it could leave them just as bad as they were. Unless they've been playing at events against teams like mouz since they picked him up and somehow I didn't know about this. And no, the time they spent with him when he stood in for them is different.
2018-02-14 19:32
ok, liquid vs astraLUL is interesting too because they won cs_ summit2 ( bo3 against sk and bo5 against cloud9 ) + ast with magisk ; )

I don't think u know what questionable means
2018-02-14 21:59
I do, but just so you can learn what it means here's the dictionary definition. "affording reason for being doubted, questioned, or challenged : not certain or exact" This roster move gives reason for doubt. Because Michu is so far unproven with this roster. Unless you can provide me evidence that there is no reason for doubt on how well he will do then you should leave. /close

2018-02-15 08:28
First off Michu will never be "gold". You're trading shit for schrödinger's player. He could be good or bad. Provide me evidence that he is going to be a great player for this team before even seeing him play and I'll leave.

Taz was not being good so they tried out michu just like fnatic tried out golden. Even if michu doesn't perform well they will remain shit as before so i don't see why just trying something new out when literally nothing is going your way a "questionable" move. It's not like they rejected coldzera or Niko and got michu instead
2018-02-17 22:34
Well they're 0-1 already. Let's see if he at least gets them 1 win so they don't go 0-3 again. :|

Swiss bo3 is sooo stupid
2018-02-14 18:29
Mind explaining. You can't just make a stupid claim then not back it up with any reasoning.
2018-02-14 19:33
i dont like bo3 in a group stage unless its an elimination game. And with this format 8 bo3 in one day we gonna miss so many game
2018-02-14 19:55
Are you the same person who complained about swiss system BO1's being super random and then used that to justify NIP losing to Vega? 1. It's only 2 matches at a time which is very manageable. Odds are you aren't going to like 2 of the 4 teams playing enough to want to watch both matches. 2. It eliminates the constant pain of having to wait for a game that almost no one cares about and saves time 3. If you really want to watch 2 matches at once use multitwitch or 2 monitors. Yeah it's not possible to focus on both at once, but odds are there won't be action on both at the same time.
