FaZe to playoffs, MVP PK out
FaZe have earned themselves a ticket to the playoffs after defeating Na`Vi 2-1 (Overpass 16-6, Inferno 6-16, Mirage 16-12), while MVP PK exited the tournament in last place as HellRaisers triumphed 2-0 in the elimination match (Inferno 16-7, Cache 16-10).
Natus Vincere got off to a good start on Overpass, FaZe's pick, leading 5-0 as Counter-Terrorists. Finn "karrigan" Andersen's team put their foot down from the second gunround on, racking up round after round without giving their opponents a chance in the round before it was 6-5 in FaZe's favor.
That's where the first opportunity presented itself for Na`Vi, but karrigan stepped in with a 1v2 clutch and added a quad-kill on top of it in another tough situation during the following round to go up 9-5. Even if the last round went Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko's team's way, it made little difference overall, as Nikola "NiKo" Kovač showcased his skill with a fantastic all-headshot ace once the sides switched and FaZe went on to dominate on the defense for a 16-6 victory on the opening map.
Despite losing the pistol round, Natus Vincere once again began well as Terrorists on their own pick, Inferno, responding in the second-round forcebuy. The first few gunrounds went back and forth, but Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev's flashy 1v2 on A short broke FaZe's economy as Na`Vi reached 8-3.
Jumping through a smoke on top banana, the CIS-based squad met their demise, but they were quickly back to winning ways and closed out the half with a 10-5 lead. s1mple was once again the hero in the second pistol, saving a close 2v4 attempt from Håvard "rain" Nygaard and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer, allowing Na`Vi to reach 14, and a big triple from the superstar nearly sealed the deal as Zeus's men equalized the series at 16-6.
Mirage kicked off with Zeus defusing the bomb in a chaotic 3v2 on the A bombsite, before FaZe bought up two AKs in the second round and Ladislav "GuardiaN" Kovács and olofmeister put up doubles with the rifles. It was 5-1 when Natus Vincere started turning things back in their favor with a 2v4 by s1mple and Zeus, and another clutch from the former set the score to 5-4. A close 3v3 afterplant on A saw FaZe extend their lead to 7-4, but another big play from s1mple, that time a lightning fast triple defending B with an AWP, helped Na`Vi secure the remaining four rounds in the half to end up with eight in total.
The score was soon 11-7 after the following pistol, but the European mixture replied in the gunrounds to lower the deficit to just one. Apart from the next round, FaZe kept defending both bombsites with ease to push Na`Vi to one half-buy after another, grabbing their spot in the playoffs following a 16-12, 2-1 triumph.

The match for survival between MVP PK and HellRaisers, with Issa "ISSAA" Murad returning to the squad after issues with his visa going on until day three, started on Inferno. HR grabbed the pistol as CT but the Korean side replied on the back of Min-Seok "zeff" Park's triple in the forcebuy and grabbed a 3-1 lead early on.
The teams were soon even at 4-4, when Özgür "woxic" Eker's opening double and later Bence "DeadFox" Böröcz's defuse in a 1v1 helped HellRaisers gain the edge and keep it until the end of the half at 9-6. Even though MVP secured the second pistol round with Hae-Sung "HSK" Kim saving a good 1v3 attempt by the Turkish player, HellRaisers powered to a 16-7 win on the first map after a dominant offense.
HellRaisers quickly established dominance on their map, Cache, grabbing an 8-0 lead without breaking much of a sweat throughout the first portion of the half. The next two rounds were traded, which put MVP PK on a forcebuy, but zeff's double entry on A opened the gates and allowed the Korean squad to get back into the game, locking down the rest of the half for a 6-9 scoreline.
Adding a pistol round and an anti-eco on top, Keun-Chul "solo" Kang & co. were just one round away from tying the second map. ISSAA made sure that didn't happen with four kills in the first gunround, pushing his team to 12-8. MVP PK managed to string two in a row, but that was all they could do on Cache as HR grabbed a 16-10, 2-0 victory to stay alive in the tournament.
