Fragsters sign refrezh
Ismail "refrezh" Ali has joined Fragsters on a permanent basis, the Danish organisation have announced.
The 20-year-old has signed a permanent deal with Fragsters following a three-month trial with the team, having joined the Danish side from Tricked in December following Simon "snedker" Snedker's departure.
While on trial, Ismail "refrezh" Ali averaged a 1.17 rating, helping the Danish team to secure a spot in the ECS Season 5 Challenger Cup after coming through two qualification stages.
In a statement, Fragsters leader Nicolai "torben" Amorim admitted to being "surprised" by refrezh's impact, revealing that the 20-year-old has sometimes helped to keep the team in check with his "patient style of play."
"Since I had never played with or talked to refrezh before, I did not know what to expect, but I have to admit I was really surprised, in a positive way," torben told HLTV.org.
"I was surprised, first and foremost, by his great individual skill, but also by his positive personality. He really fits the team, both inside and outside the game, and he has a very calm and patient style of play, which I think is a mix of his personality and his time with Tricked, who have a more structured style of play.
"His style is really perfect for us since we already have enough hyperactive players. He is calm and steady, and helps to bring us down to earth."
Fragsters, who are currently ranked 33rd in the world, lie in fourth spot in ESEA MDL, with a 5-3 record. Their team now look as follows:
