Dark Sided sign Knights roster
Dark Sided have announced their return to the Counter-Strike scene by acquiring the Knights roster, consisting of ex-Immunity member James "James" Quinn.
The Australian organization has been sitting behind the scenes following the disbandment of the late-2017 roster in December, with their former players Euan "sterling" Moore and Matthew "Texta" O'Rourke later being noticed and acquired by one of Australia's well-known esports organizations Chiefs.
They have decided to sign Knights, which features former Immunity player James "James" Quinn, ex-AVANT duo Alec "Noisia" Gulabovski and Georgio "sK" Poumpoulidis, alongside ex-SIN duo Cooper "void" Farrell and Andrew "YDNA" Adams. With the exception of YDNA, the other four players have attended at least one international event in their careers, such as ROG MASTERS and WESG APAC.
The newly acquired lineup is currently competing in several online leagues in the Oceanic region including CyberGamer Premier League Autumn, ESEA Mountain Dew League, Alpha Invitational Season 1, and the upcoming season of ESL Australia & NZ Championship.
James, one of the eleven Australian players to ever compete at a CS:GO Major had this to say on their acquisition:
“We are incredibly excited to be welcomed to the Dark Sided family. As an eager team to develop futher, it is amazing to know we have such great support behind us," James told Respawn Ninja.
"Whilst it is early days for this roster, I am confident that we can all become a contender for a top team in Australia and much more. We’re certain that together with Dark Sided we will achieve great things, and we’re grateful for this opportunity.”
