ESL AU&NZ Championship S6 set to begin

The sixth edition of the ESL Australia & New Zealand Championship kicks off tomorrow, with eight out of sixteen teams finding their way to the $20,000 AUD (~$15,670) offline finals.

The online league will run for seven weeks from March 7 to April 18, splitting the list into two groups of eight teams. Within their groups, they will face each other in a best-of-two, round-robin format.

At the conclusion of the online regular season, the top four teams from each group will qualify for the LAN Finals in June.

The NZ scene has had a disastrous few years and was torn by all the different versions of CS. Eg. 1.6/Source/promod/csgo. It never recovered and our best players jumped ship to play with more talented players from Australia.
