ex-MYM win KODE5 Poland
29/3/2009 - 19:17
KODE5 Poland ends with former MYM defeating KerchNET 2:0 in the grand final.
The two team met in the group-stage, where the Polish team won a close match 17:13. KerchNET should have another chance against the Polish team as the two met in the grand final. The Ukrainian team did however not have much to put up against the team formerly known as MYM. Starting on inferno, KerchNET looked fairly strong as T, but as CT, everything just fell apart for the Ukrainians. The Polish team secured a 16:8 win on inferno.
On train the Polish team continued their CT dominance and KerchNET only got only single round, before switching rounds. A flawless CT gunround could be what was needed to put KerchNET back into the match, but once the Poles got to buy those cheap AK47’s, it was just game-over for KerchNET, granting MYM a 16:4 win on train and 2:0 overall.
This qualifies the Polish team for KODE5 Global Finals. The team is still without a name, but can now look forward to be attending KODE5 Global Finals with many other respected teams.
Top player of KODE5 Poland is the Polish mad-fragger Filip "Neo" Kubski, who score a 1.91 K/D ratio during the event, with 147 kills and 77 deaths. The AK47 assault-rifle contributed with 43% of all his kills and 40% of all kills during KODE5 Poland. The entire team scores a 1.5 K/D ratio, while second place goes to DELTA with 1.1 K/D ratio.
This end KODE5 Poland, which took place online this Sunday. KODE5 will see more qualifiers over the next weeks, with KODE5 Spain just next weekend.
