FACEIT relaunches FPL North America

FACEIT have announced their relaunch of FPL and FPL Challenger in North America

Along with the FPL and FPL-C divisions, FACEIT have created three hubs in North America, each of which feeds into FPL-C. These hubs, divided into West, Central, and East, will be run by HLTV's North American affiliate, Dust2.us, Mythic and PreGame, respectively.

FPL previously came to American shores at the tail end of 2015 and early 2016, but quickly lost ground to ESEA's competing Rank S offering.

FPL returns to North America

Each hub will have multiple divisions, with the top 30 players from the highest division (along with 20 from Premium Queue) advancing to an FPL-C qualifier. The top five players from the qualifier will be promoted to FPL Challenger.

The player who wins FPL Challenger each season (along with the winner of the FPL qualifier) will have the opportunity to play in the FACEIT Pro League alongside the best players in North America.

The listing of regional hubs and their organizer pages is as follows:

ikr why mythic of all orgs? dust2us had a tournament on faceit so I can see why they chose them and pregame is well I'm not sure but mythic?! Not like it matters they still have too play fpl quals if they do make it out of there division.

All i can say is that all mtdl pkayers will be there. Its going to be a massive shitfest, all t1 streamers and pkayers who play rank s will remain where they are. Maybe they want more amateurs to be involved since rank s in na is pretty hard to get into

Well, since the start of hltv, only 1 report was wrong: Get_RiGhT to join Cloud9 which was according to some other site, 3-4 years ago Hltv is probably the best site for reliable news since they get some of them from all the other sites and post them in a better shape
2018-03-12 06:55
Flickshot is always right
2018-03-12 07:47
Yea it was fragbite.se who was wrong, I have never seen flickshot posting wrong reports

How ? Whats different other than the name of competition ?
2018-03-12 00:36
it is cuz faceit will kick people who don't deserve to be playing with the pros
2018-03-12 00:46
esea kicked players from rankS aswell..... there is literally no difference other than marketing and biases in your head.

There r so many nonamed cheaters in rank s LMAO unlike faceit and faceit doesn’t ban people based on the owner’s opinion on them unlike Few (and Loba)
2018-03-12 00:53
they havent actually they kicked them back but they went back on that decision saying we will need to review our deicision and choice you can check their old tweets
2018-03-12 00:53
Servers can make a difference aswell, EliGE was having 70+ ping on ESEA while he has 40 on FACEIT
2018-03-12 06:56
He can't have 40 ping on all 3 NA Faceit servers.
2018-03-12 15:44
Many of those lower rank s players arent in fpl actually

Well, there are still a lot of pros playing it regularly, and even more soon-to-become or arising talents. Just remember how Woxic or even Ropz were spotted.
