Legacy acquire new CS:GO roster
Adelaide Crows' Legacy have signed the ex-lol123 roster, who will be managed and coached by Iain "SnypeR" Turner, formerly of Vox Eminor and Immunity.
Iain "SnypeR" Turner, a prominent figure in the Australian scene, famously known for his time in Vox Eminor and Immunity for two CS:GO Major appearances, was assigned as the coach and manager of Legacy's CS:GO division last month with the objective of "creating the best possible CS:GO roster" for the organisation this year.
They have finalized their decision by acquiring an existing lineup known as lol123, consisting of players who have been hanging around the upper echelons of Australian Counter-Strike for a while, especially the Parallax duo Egor "LONSDALE" Baranov and Chris "yellow" McGillivray.
With a new banner over their heads, the squad are currently sitting at 9th place in ESEA MDL with a 6-7 record, and will be making their offline debut at the upcoming Australian Esports Masters Season 4 Finals later this month in Adelaide.
“The CS:GO roster currently represents a thrilling opportunity to gather some of Australia’s top talents under one organisation. The intention is to create an environment focused on fostering high performance competitors who will match it with not only the best in Australia, but the best in the world.”
“I have been very impressed with their performances over the last couple of months. This is a young team and I believe that given time, resources and coaching we will help them realise their full potential.”
“Legacy has had a successful history of competition in CS:GO and with this new roster we are hoping that Iain and the club's resources will be able to develop them into a quality team. I would like to thank dizzy and mattcd for their contributions to Legacy and wish them the very best as they move on to new opportunities.”
