Jack "xCeeD" Holiman and dignitas have parted ways, the 17-year-old announced via Twitter.

Jack "⁠xCeeD⁠" Holiman had been part of the team since August 2017, when he joined up with the core of the current roster then playing under Broken Alliance, who shortly afterward transferred to SoaR.

In his time with the team, the youngster helped the squad win ESEA Season 26 Premier, beating Rise Nation in the final of the North American Finals in early January, to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 7.

xCeeD is no longer part of dignitas

Since then the now Dignitas lost one of their best players, 15-year-old Ryan "⁠Snakes⁠" Amann, due to the age restriction in ESL Pro League and were unable to qualify for ECS Season 5. Currently they're sitting in last place of Pro League with zero wins in six matches.

Dignitas are now one man short following the departure of xCeeD. However, according to Dust2.us, the team are looking at a few potential replacements, including Connor "⁠CONNOR93⁠" Glover (recently released by Ghost) and Jake "⁠kaboose⁠" McDonald (ex-BlackOut member).

For the moment, their lineup looks as follows:

Michael "⁠Grim⁠" Wince
Matthew "⁠mCe⁠" Elmore
Mitch "⁠mitch⁠" Semago

Josh "⁠shinobi⁠" Abastado (coach)

Except Liquid won cs_summit and have placed 3rd in 2 tournaments in a row after that. Even with barely any practice with their new lineup.

I don't wanna take anything away from Liquid, they are doing great imo. But everyone has high hopes in C9 and they are disappointing tournament after tournament. I mean, they just lost to TeamOne on a bo3 quarter final...

esl pro league 4 where c9 won was more than 1 year. doesnt change the fact that fluke9 wins one tier 1 tournament once 1 or 2 years. u shouldnt say that fnatic are not winning regulary while c9 is doing the same :)

astralis is doing the same as c9. winning once or twice for whole year. north won na tournaments like fluke9 so whats the point?.denver was international with only two tier 2 teams back then (mouz and c9) rest was tier 3 or shitter.

xCeeD was causing some problems in the team. Based on the stream from mCe, he was refusing to take certain commands and it cost them a map vs Luminosity on Overpass. Also apparently mCe wanted to replace him ever since they were still MDL.
