Kinguin last invited team to CPH Games 2018

The fourth and final invite to this year's Copenhagen Games, which is set to start next week, is Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas' Kinguin.

Joining Heroic, Quantum Bellator Fire, and North, will be Kinguin, who will debut on LAN in Copenhagen at the end of March. Playing for them in Denmark for the first time will be Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas, who already won CPH Games 2015 with his former team, Virtus.pro.

TaZ will return offline at CPH Games 2018 with Kinguin

TaZ's statement to Copenhagen Games when enquired about the invite is the following:

"I'm very happy that we will be able to attend Copenhagen Games with Team Kinguin. I feel like it is great chance to show the talent that the guys have and push it all the way. We are a very young team, but last time I attended Copenhagen Games I managed to win it, so our aim is clear! I can't wait to step into the LAN game once again! Be sure to tune in, this Pinguin is planning to fly high!”

This year's CS:GO tournament at Copenhagen Games will have $100,000 up for grabs and will feature the four invited teams as well as four teams that will qualify through the open qualifier, which closes tomorrow and already has dozens of teams signed up, such as Windigo, Valiance, Imperial, or Rogue, among others. The final list of invited teams is:

cph games need more than 8 teams wtf? why you killing the byoc huge tournament tradition?
2018-03-23 19:13
They're not. It's still there, these are just the invited teams bro lol
2018-03-23 19:24
it says a total of 8 spots are there for the tournament in tournament page tho. shouldnt it be like 16 or 32?
2018-03-23 19:31
Only 4 others qualify for the main tournament, the qualifiers are still BYOC. These 4 invited teams won't have to play the qualifiers though.
2018-03-23 19:33
i see. still a very low amount of teams in the main tournament tho.

2018-03-23 19:35
Actually there's ~117 teams in the BYOC qualifier at the moment. Signups close tomorrow. copenhagengames.com/participants

Yeah, nothing to do with the fact their a global market that's one of the biggest in the world regarding the digital games e-commerce. 5 millions+ users things like that right? But again, TaZ as an individual is much more exposure than the global company behind them
